Avery's Branch Farms: Avery's Branch Farms is offering all natural, pasture-raised poultry and pork. We also offer raw milk through our cow share program and would love to supply you and your family with fresh, real milk at our Goochland drop site.

SPECIAL THIS WEEK ~ For a limited time, soon-to-be-married farm daughter, Meredith, is selling her delicious, award winning cheesecakes made with farm fresh eggs to help defray some of the wedding costs!

Byrd Cellars: Byrd Cellars is Goochland’s newest winery. We welcome you to stop by our booth and try our hand crafted, premium wines that are distinctly Virginia. See the newest wine bottle enclosure- The Zork. Take home a bottle of our Raven Red or Norton Reserve to enjoy with dinner tonight or a bottle of our Apple Wine or Leanora’s Meadowsweet for sipping on the deck or the dock. Casselmonte Farm: Casselmonte Farm will be bringing a beautiful collection of shiitake mushrooms, Italian bi-color eggplant and several varieties of okra ... and even some musk melons/cantelopes. Sweet eating! And congratulations to Goochland Farmers Market for its 12th place ranking of large farmers markets in America. Next year, we'll break into the top 10! Claire's Creations: Only 2 more chances to see my great new fabrics for fall and winter!! I am also now including reversible jumpers and headbands plus the reversible skirts. I hope to see you on Sept. 17 or Oct. 2.
Deer Run Farm: This week at the market we will have tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant, beans, fall squash, kale, eggs, and okra. Check out the Deer Run Farm website.

Dutch Oven Bakery: We will have the usual baked goods.
E Lord & Company, Inc: Elizabeth Lord will not be at market this week but will return Saturday, September 18. Check out the E Lord & Company, Inc website.
Forrest Green Farm: Forrest Green Farm will have unique selection of heirloom tomatoes, green fillet beans, southern crowder peas, lemon and regular cucumbers, hot and sweet peppers, zucchini and yellow squash, spaghetti and butternut squash, an assortment of specialty potatoes, romaine lettuce, and fresh cut zinnia flower bouquets. As always we will have popular plants such as sweet basil, rosemary, lavender, lemon grass, aromatic geraniums and also some summer flowering plants to perk up your gardens for summer into fall displays. Furbelow Farms: We raise top quality Alpacas with some top quality fleeces. We also raise and sell Cashmere Goats, Bunnies, Ducks, Chickens & Quail. We produce some wonderful items including, scarves, gloves, hats, raw fleece for spinning, yarn and felted goats milk & camels milk soaps from our alpacas fiber. We also offer some wonderful Duck, Quail & Chicken eggs. Stop by our tent and meet our newest addition to the farm, Buster, he is a 3 month old Kune Kune mini-pig. Grayhaven Vineyard: Grayhaven produces hand-crafted wines from 17 estate-grown varieties. Drop by their booth for a tasting and take home the perfect bottle to serve with your market fresh dinner. Hickory Green Farm: Due to the effects of this summer's extreme weather pattern on our plants, we will not be able to harvest any crops for market until September 11th. Read the Hickory Green Farm blog.
Lower Byrd Farm: We will be at the market this week with Goochland Grown Hard Red Wheat- excellent for bread baking and other wholesome baked goods, salads and whole grain dishes. We can grind up to 5 pounds of wheat for you, at no charge, if you don't have a flour mill. Taste the goodness of fresh, locally grown wheat. Sample bread, brownies and other items made with our wheat. Try our latest Wheat Berry Salad. We will also have Mimi's Honey Wheat Bread, Cinnamon Rolls, and other Whole Wheat Baked Goods. Manakintowne Specialty Growers: Manakintowne will be at the market this week with salad mix, arugula, French sorrel, micro greens, sunflower shoots, fresh shallots and garlic, Pimientos de Padron (Spanish tapas), Islander peppers (sweet purple bell), Anaheim peppers (great for chiles rellenos), an array of fresh fragrant herbs and Pete's yummy baked goods. Marcia K. Germain: On the spot portraits in watercolor take about 15 minutes or so and seem to capture the essence of the sitter. I love doing them for all ages.
Mustard Seed Farm: We will be bringing cut flowers, flowering containers, perennials, shrubs and herbs for your fall garden. Check out the Mustard Seed Farm website.
Nanci's Creations: Nancy Crymes will bring seasonal grapevine and pine wreaths and arrangements decorated with silk flowers - birds, owls, roosters, frogs and nautical themes with boats & lighthouses.
Old Woman Farm: The chief clucker, minus a few tailfeathers, will be back at the market this Saturday with a few precious jars of Quince Jelly, wonderfully healthy eggs and selected creations from the kitchen.
Perrin's BBQ and Catering: We will have breakfast sandwiches, bbq, slaw, beans, sweet potato fries, the General James Burger (sausage and hamburger burgers) and bbq by the pound. Check out the Perrin's BBQ and Catering website.
Recursive Paths, LLC: Rhonda will have jewelry, cards and other cool stuff.
Roots and Feathers Farm: We will be at the market this week with a variety of produce from our farm, all grown using organic methods only. We will have fresh Edamame, Summer Squash, Armenian Cucumbers, Bok Choy, Arugula, Beets, Swiss Chard, Carrots, Haikuri Turnips, Okra, Basil, Fresh Flowers, Tomatoes, Winter Squash, Canary Melons and Sugar Baby Watermelons. Stony Mountain Nursery: We will have some water lilies, marginal plants, and general pond plants. We will also have potted Lotus plants each week for the next several weeks. Several colors to choose from & 3 different container sizes also.
The Goochland Woman's Club: This month the Goochland Woman's Club will again give all the money we make in our booth to the Goochland Free Clinic and Family Services Plumbing Fund. We will be selling osage oranges, jams and pickles. Also many wonderful baked goods, brightly patterned purses, totes, aprons, tissue holders, knitted baby hats and bibs. We also have hand-made bookmarks, baskets, pillows and dish cloths. As a special treat this month, we will have Armenian delicacies.
William Hale: William Hale is looking forward to being back at the Market with Amish Moon and Stars Watermelons. The first ones to ripen are delicious. He'll also have bagged compost and enriched mulch. Oh, and the old favorite, Down Home Dynamite Popcorn.
