The Center for Rural Culture's Farm-to-Table Dinner will delight you and your guests!
Savor delicious small plates made with fresh and local ingredients by our Producers on Fall Line Farms & Local Roots. Meet several who will be there to talk about their products and the farm they grow it on while strolling the grounds of Rassawek Vineyard.
Enjoy fabulous craft beer from Hardywood and local wine from Cunningham Creek Winery. Drink in the delightful bucolic setting. Sit down with friends new and old to a delicious dinner made with locally sourced ingredients.
Our Producers who will be there to demonstrate and talk about their signature dishes include:
-- Filippo Gambassi; Terra di Siena, Amelia County, Charcuterie Boards and Pasta
-- Patti and Stewart Rosenberg; Waverly Farm, Nottoway County, Pork and Lamb grown on their Animal Welfare Approved farm.
-- Jo and Rob Pendegraph; Manakintowne Specialty Growers, Powhatan County, Salad and veggies
-- Betsy Trice; Peacemeal Farm, Goochland County, Chicken
-- Steve and Elizabeth Haas; HaaShrooms Farm, Goochland County, Mushrooms
This year we'll also include a special hike with Steve and Elizabeth Haas at their mushroom farm in Goochland, Virginia. Steve will give you an experience exploring Monacan Indian artifacts and finds along the James River just minutes away from Rassawek.
